PIET VAN ROOYEN

PIET VAN ROOYEN

Piet attended the University of Stellenbosch where he obtained his BCom degree in 1976 and his LLB in 1979. After completing his military service he went on to do his articles of clerkship in Johannesburg and was admitted as an attorney in 1984. He is also a practicing notary public and conveyancer. He has been practicing as an attorney for more than 32 years and specialises in commercial matters including, renewable energy matters, conveyancing, and property law, commercial contracts as well as trusts and estates. Piet established Van Rooyen & Efstratiou in 1994.

KELLY BENN

KELLY BENN

Kelly graduated from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in 2005 whereat she obtained her LLB degree. She went on to complete her articles of clerkship and was admitted as an attorney in July 2011. Kelly is also an admitted Conveyancer and specialises in Conveyancing matters. Kelly joined Van Rooyen & Efstratiou in 2015 and heads up the property transfers department.

CATHERINE GROBLER

CATHERINE GROBLER

Catherine was born in Port Elizabeth and matriculated from Alexander Road High School in 2006, with distinction. She obtained her LLB from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, graduating in 2010, being one of six students to receive her LLB Degree cum laude. Her other achievements include being awarded the Joubert Galpin Searle overall achiever award in her third year of studies and being chosen to represent the University at the All African Moot Court competition held in Lagos, Nigeria as well as the International Moot Court competition held in Pretoria. Catherine was admitted as an attorney in 2013. Catherine joined Van Rooyen & Efstratiou in July 2016 and practises in the fields of civil litigation, labour law, family law and conveyancing.
